For Immediate Release: Springfield Police identify homicide victim

Earlier today, the Springfield Police Department was called to 1623 E McDaniel to investigate a homicide. The victim has been identified as the resident of the address, Jason F. Isenbletter (DOB 01-10-77, of Springfield). Jason's family has been notified of his death.

Isenbletter's vehicle has not yet been located. There is no other information available for release at this time.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing and Police are actively working all available leads. Police encourage any witnesses to call 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous report at 869-TIPS (Crime Stoppers). If information given leads to the conviction of a suspect, a cash award may be considered for the tipster.
