For Immediate Release: Missing Endangered Person

The Springfield Police Department is investigating a missing persons case that involves a mentally challenged 17-year-old. Caleb J. Barnes, (whose nickname is C.J.), is a white male, 5'-6", 95-100#, with short blond hair. Caleb left home from the 1300 block of S. Gelven today between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Caleb requires medication for special needs and is very trusting of strangers. Caleb appears younger than his age. It is unknown what type of clothing Caleb may be wearing or has with him. He might be carrying a pillowcase with Hot Wheels toys, a CD player, and CD case. 

The police department is considering Caleb an Endangered Missing Person and is requesting assistance from the public in locating him.
