Civilian Employment

The Springfield Police Department employs several civilians throughout the department including Police Services Representatives who assist people at the front desk or by phone, mail, or fax. Other civilian positions include Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Data Entry Clerk, Crime Research Analyst, Forensic Fingerprint Technician, and Forensic Fingerprint Classifier.
