Cathy Smith Administrative Assistant Deputy Registrar (417) 864-1411 Cathy graduated from Glendale High School in 1968. She got married in 1969 and went to England with her husband, who was in the Air Force. She began working for Southwestern Bell in 1971 and then moved to AT&T for a total of 21 years. Cathy went to work for L&W Industries in 1990 and then started at the Springfield-Greene County Health Department in 1993. Her husband retired from the City of Springfield, Street Department in 2001. Cathy has worked in the health department's vital records office for 12 years and loves her work serving the general public when the need arises for birth and death certificates.
