Introduction:
Thel Purchasing
Division of the City of Springfield has instituted the DemandStar.com
system to automatically notify potential contractors, consultants,
and other types of vendors, as well as the general public of City
Bid Opportunities. The system allows you to receive the information
quickly, whenever and wherever you choose, 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. All you need is a fax machine and/or computer.
Although the Purchasing Division office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Monday
through Friday, the DemandStar.com
system is never closed.

How To Use The DemandStar.com
System
Using the
DemandStar .com system is easy. There are several methods to receive
notifications:
E-Mail Broadcast
DemandStar.com offers
an e-mail notification of bid opportunities for those who prefer
to receive information electronically. These vendors will
also be able to download the actual bid package over the web at
no additional charge.

Broadcast from the City of Springfield Division of Purchases
The City of Springfield Division of Purchases is currently in the process of updating our vendor records. In an effort to better assist you, the Division of Purchases will be utilizing an email notification service to email all solicitation opportunities. Effective July 1, 2008 solicitation opportunities will be sent via email to those companies who register on our website after June 2, 2008. Please register your company at the Vendor Registration link below. By registering your company, you will receive an email bi-weekly (on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons) from the Division of Purchases with a link to all current solicitation opportunities.
All vendors who have previously filled out a vendor application will still need to register their email on our website to receive solicitation notifications. It is imperative that you register you company below to be notified of all solicitations that are posted by the City of Springfield Division of Purchases.
