Emergency Communications Director

Becky Jungmann has served as the 911 Director since April 10, 2001. She serves
as technical advisor to the City Manager regarding emergency and telephone
communications networks, recommends equipment selection and modification, evaluates
quality and adequacy of communications hardware, and develops techniques for
handling requests for emergency services. Ms. Jungmann oversees a staff of
70 who serve a countywide network for Enhanced 9-1-1.
Ms. Jungmann has worked in the emergency communications
field for 27 years. She has served in all aspect of the job ranging from calltaker/dispatcher
to supervisor and director. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Greenville College.
Assistant Director

Assistant Director J.R. Webb is a life long resident of the Springfield area,
attending Glendale High School and graduating from Drury University in 1984.
Webb's public safety career began in 1985 with the Logan-Rogersville Fire
Protection District, with which he served until 1991 attaining the rank of
Chief of the Department. His career continued with the Greene County Sheriff's
Department Communications Division from 1991 until July 2002 when the Communications
Division merged with Springfield Emergency Communications to form Springfield-Greene
County 911.
J.R. is married to Kim with 4 children.
